This is quite an important topic, maybe not salvational, but one could lose their soul in expecting something that will not happen . Let us find out will there be two second coming of Jesus Christ in the heavens ? As the church always taught that Jesus will come one time once for all. Since the 1800 a new belief came about The secret rapture which also was mixed with manifestations of the Holy Spirit , tongues Which view is biblical and taught by Jesus and the apostles ?

I tell the same thing to my Muslim friends who believe that Allah lied to all Christians all around the world for 500 years. Then said that the book they were reading was false. Could God have said , you Christians i give you a book, it is absolute and it is inspired by Me to holy men .
2 PE 1 21 ' For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.'
Then could God let the bible become corrupt and not be able to preserve it ? It does not make sense . As God is all powerful and if God wants to save humans, then He would preserve the book that leads us to truth . As out minds are darkened and cannot understand truth, unless the HolySpirit leads us to all truth. JN 17 17 'Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. '
This argument does not make sense when Muslims say , the bible has become corrupt. We have the dead sea scrolls. Why didnt Jesus teach that He would come again secretly to the disciples ? Why didn t Jesus teach that some people will be take away, and others will be left to have 7 years to repents ? As when we examine the beliefs of Christians in the first century, we find out they all believed in the literal and visible return of Jesus from heaven. When someone teaches this belief, it means that they are saying God lied to people for 2000 years .
Then told a group starting around 1800 teaching something opposite. But God cannot lie . God can bring a group to expand on the truth as the 3 angels message group . Will there be two second coming of Jesus Christ in the heavens ? The bible teaches one second coming when Jesus gives the rewards.
But when someone teaches that the literal second coming is not true, that there will be a secret second coming , it means that God lied to people when He said
Mark 13: 35 “Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back—whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. 36 If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. 37 What I say to you, I say to everyone: ‘Watch!’”
Luke 21:34
'Be on guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day will not come on you suddenly like a trap;' If people will have 7 years to make it right with God , then this teaching of Jesus would make it a contradiction in the bible . But we know that the bible never contradicts itself.
Will there be two second coming of Jesus Christ in the heavens ? As a thief in the night
Many proponents of the secret rapture and 2 second comings say that Jesus will come as a thief, which means invisibly . Let us read the verse 1 TH 5 2 ' For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. ' Does the verse say Jesus will come secretly ? No it says Jesus will come in the name manner of a thief. So someone has to interpret himself what coming as a thief means . What coming as a thief means ? Invisibly No
As this could contradict the rest of the bible that says that Jesus will be seen and heard when He returns . It also contradict the bible that says Jesus comes suddenly .
Wo see that coming as a thief means that Jesus will come rapidly without a moment of thought for the people on earth . Will there be two second coming of Jesus Christ in the heavens ? The bible teaches one second coming visible and audible by all people . In fact Jesus would be deceiving people all around the world saying I come again one time then that's finished. Then teach 1800 years later . In fact many people will be able to repent for 7 years and some will leave secretly with me . This does not make any sense.
It is like Jesus saying, there will be an earthquake, then say well it was not true. God is not a deceiver. We need to find out what the bible teaches as this secret rapture belief made popular by Darby is mainstream today . But it is not found in the bible .
Will there be two second coming of Jesus Christ in the heavens ? The seven years
The seven years is a great teaching among Christians today . When we observe the verse we do not find anything there that says this period is literal. As we know all time in prophecy 1 day is one year.
This is called the 1 day 1 year principle . DA 9 27 'And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. '
This verse does not say anything about being in the end times . Will there be two second coming of Jesus Christ in the heavens ? We find out the Christian belief since Jesus is the correct one . This verse says when we take the 2 verses before the context that, Jesus would be baptised 69 weeks of 483 years after Jerusalem would be rebuilt. Which is in AD 27 . The Jews would be rejected 7 years later in ad 34 . Then Jesus would die on the cross in the middle of these 7 years in AD 31 . Do we have anything here about an Antichrist coming in the future ? No
Do we have anything here about a tribulation lasting seven years. No The verse talks about Jesus baptism, death , rejection of the Jews and Jesus entering the most holy place in 1844 . Bible prophecy is not about interpreting things anyway we want . 2 PE 1 20 'Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
' Then if we follow this method of interpreting things the way we want we can say . The beast means my friends god. The 7 years tribulation means I will not eat for 7 days. The mark of the beast means, by cat will get sick . We need to be very careful to not add things to what God is saying and twisting his worlds to our destruction .
2 PE 3 16 'As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. '
Will there be two second coming of Jesus Christ in the heavens ? The 2 coming verses
HE 9 28 ' So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation' Here the bible is clear it says that Jesus will come only a second time and it does not say Jesus will come a second time, then a third time . This secret coming is not found in the bible or in the beliefs of the early Christian church.
RE 1 7 'Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. ' Here it is also clear Jesus when He will return will not come secretly, it says all eye will see him. Remember if there was a secret and real second coming, the bible would have to mention every time of which second coming it is talking about .
2 PE 3 10 ' But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. ' Does the verse talk about the days of the Lord plural ?
No it says the day singular, it means there will be only one second coming . When Jesus returns it says the heavens will pass away and the elements which is the mountains, the fields, the roads, buildings, all earth will melt. This doe snot sound secret to me also . As the secret rapture group teaches than when Jesus returns it will be silent and a secret.
MT 24 36 ' But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. ' Here again it says that day singular. If Jesus would come secretly and visibly after then Jesus would say , of those days plural. Or he would say , of the visible second coming, to differentiate with the secret second coming . But Jesus never makes a distinction . As there is only one second coming . Will there be two second coming of Jesus Christ in the heavens ? Jesus never teaches two second comings.
MT 24 44 ' Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. ' We also have the singular here hour, instead of hours . As if Jesus would come secretly first then people would have to prepare and watch for this event too . It does not make sense that Jesus says to prepare only for the visible second coming if there were 2 second comings. Seeing Jesus terminology we find out that Jesus here says this is final . When Jesus comes again all things ends, Life on earth ends, Business on earth ends. Church on earth ends. Business as usual ends.
JN 14 3 ' And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. ' Could Jesus return and have finished the judgment for some people, while the others continue to live and He would have to continue to watch their actions, words and thoughts to judge all people again after. No it does not make sense as when Jesus ends the judgment in the most holy place, then He returns and it is over . Jesus cannot give rewards to people if the judgment is not over.
RE 22 12 'And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. ' Jesus says when I return i give rewards, eternal life or eternal destruction . There is no mention of Jesus returning and not ending life on earth and not giving rewards to all people .
LK 21 34 ' And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.' This verse says also says that day singular. There is only one day when Jesus will return .
Jesus says if I come and you are not ready and unaware then its over. The teaching that Jesus will come secretly and give a second chance, is in opposition to when Jesus says . ' Lest that day come upon you anaware' Then Jesus adds that this day will come upon all people on earth, not a select group . This is contradiction to the secret rapture belief that says Jesus will return for a select few only .
It says that day the second coming will be a snare for all that dwell on earth . All inhabitants of earth will be affected by the return of Jesus. If they have 7 years to make it right will it be a snare ? No then asking will there be two second coming of Jesus Christ in the heavens ?we find out that the answer is no .
TI 2 13 ' Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; ' Here the bible says THE blessed hope, THE glorious appearing, It does not say the appearings of Jesus plural .
AC 1 11 ' Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. ' Angels don t you know that there will be 2 second comings ? Why do you say Jesus will come in the same manner, when we will see and hear Jesus ? Seems like the angels did not know there would be two second comings.
MT 16 27 ' For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.' Does it say Jesus will come secretly ?. No it says with all the billions of angels. What will Jesus do then ? Repay all people when He returns . The secret rapture bbelief says Jesus not not repay people when He comes secretly but for a few he Wil give rewards. This is contrary to when the bible says Jesus will repay all human beings who ever lived.
MT 24 27 ' For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. ' The secret rapture is more Jesus coming so fast that people will not have time to repent . It has nothing to do with being secret, the bible talks about the speed of return of Jesus .
MT 24 42 'Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.' other versions say stay awake . Why would Jesus say stay awake, if all people Wil have seven years to repent ?
CO 3 4 ' When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. ' The secret rapture belief says many more people will repent after the rapture happens and they will also be saved. Here Jesus says that all the people that need to be saved will then go with Jesus in the sky .
