What are the teachings of the sevanth day Adventists?

This is a very interesting question as many people believe that as long as I believe in Jesus, I will go to heaven. The bible and the seventh-day adventists believe that the mark of the beast is coming and there is another time of testing the people of God. This is much like in the days of Noah. What are the teachings of the Seventh-day Adventists? Is this church a man-made church? Or did God call them to give a special message called the 3 Angels message and the Sanctuary message? Let us find out.

The Millerite movement

It all started around 1830 when a man called William Miller started a two-year study of the Bible verse by verse. One day, William Miller fell on Daniel 8:14, which says

DA 8:14 UNO 2300 days, then the sanctuary shall be cleansed.

This verse intrigued William Miller. He started to find out that the days the Bible talks about here are really years. As Gabriel says in Daniel 12, this period of time is for the time of the end.

What are the teachings of the Seventh-day Adventists? This sanctuary belief is fundamental to the Christian world and is extremely significant because it states that all beings are currently being judged by Jesus.Willim Miller found out that the cleansing of the sanctuary is the October 22 message of the day of atonement.

On the day of atonement, Jews were all required to fast and examine their hearts. The high priest was the only person allowed to enter the most holy place, and that was only one day a year. This is the day when the sanctuary was cleansed from the memory of sin for the whole year. When the sinner would bring an animal to be sacrificed, pardon was granted. But the memory of sin remained. As a result, a cleansing of the sanctuary was required to erase the memory of the sins for the entire year.

HE 9 23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

HE 8. Now of the things which we have spoken, this is the sum: We have such a high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of His Majesty in the heavens;

2... a minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.

What are the teachings of the Seventh-day Adventists? Among others, this is a very important teaching tool. Why? Because Jesus says that a person will come to give the world the final message for the planet,This message is called the "three angels" message. The first angel's message concerns the judgment sanctuary message. We know that the true church comes out after the 1260 years of persecution. As a result, this end-of-the-world movement must occur after 1798, when the papal persecution ended.

William Miller and the decision-making process

William Miller was correct about the time frame. The 2300 years did start in 457. When Gabriel says

DA 9: 25Then know and understand that from the sending forth of the commandment to restore and build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks and three score and two weeks: the street and the wall shall be rebuilt, even in troubled times.

It is stated here that when Jerusalem was rebuilt, which occurred in 457 BC,Adding 2300 years, we arrive at the time when Jesus entered the most holy place.

Why? Because only the high priest could cleanse the sanctuary. We read above that the sanctuary was not on the earth, as thought by William Miller, but it was the sanctuary in heaven. A shadow was cast by God on the event to test his people. In revelation 11, we read:

RE 10: 11"Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings," he said.

After the disapopintment, God told his people that after the book would be sweet to the mouth and bitter in the belly. Then they were to preach the three angels' message to the whole world. This was the start of the 3 angels' message. The Millerite movement was the judgment hour message of Revelation 14.

RE 14: 6And I saw another angel fly through the heavens, bearing the everlasting gospel to preach to the inhabitants of the earth, as well as to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people."Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment has come; and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea, and the fountains of waters," he said loudly.

This group that Jesus says would be disappointed would receive a message that would be sweet to the mouth and bitter in the belly. A group that would start after the 1260 years of papal persecution. After 1798, he would have to preach this message to the world. It would be an immense message. An Elijah message comes into the ark. Worship God or the world! We know that this group that God has called cannot be an obscure preacher or some unknown person that claims to be a prophet.

The 3 Angels' message

What are the teachings of the Seventh-day Adventists? This was the first angel's message. We can know that also because we can look in history after 1798 at a group of religious people that preached a worldwide message about the sanctuary and the cleansing of the sanctuary. There is no other group that fulfills all the points of the prophecy.

What happened after the first angel was given? The bible says that there was a mainstream and unanimous rejection of the message that resulted in the fall of the nominal churches in the state of Babylon. Babylon is the papacy. But the bible says that Babylon has daughters.

RE 17:4And the woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and she was adorned with gold, precious stones, and pearls, and she held a golden cup full of the abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

5 And a name was written on her forehead: Mystery, Babylon the Great, Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth.

If the papacy is the mother of Babylon, you can read our post on Who is Babylon. Then we can conclude that the daughters are the protestant churches that came out of Babylon. But because they retained some beliefs from Babylon and paganism, As they rejected the 3 angels' message, they fell into the babylon state once again.

RE 14:7Saying with a loud voice, "Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment has come; and worship him that made heaven and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of water."

8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

This confirms exactly what happened. About ten percent of Americans followed the Millerite movement and saw that God was sending this very important message of divine judgment on all human beings. But as most churches refused the message, Even if only 10% of Americans accepted the message, the churches that refused light would be in a state of babylon.

The seventh-day adventists and the sabbath

As the churches of America and the world became babylon, then we can conclude that this movement, or the 3 Angels message church, or the Millerite Movement that became the seventh day Adventist church, is the true church. You can read my other posts on that many Adventists are in a mukewarm state and legalists. And Ellen G. White, the prophet, says that they will come out and receive the mark of the beast just like the nominal churches.

What are the teachings of the Seventh-day Adventists? The three angels message was given only by the seventh-day adventist church, which did not have a name at the time and was a mix of Christians from all churches. The message is true. Some of the people are in a laodicean state. You know, not all of them.

The sabbath is a great point given by God to the seventh-day adventists. In Revelation 14, Jesus says that his end-time people will keep God's commandments.Does that include the Sabbath? Yes, this would be in comparison with the great body of Christ that says there is no more law.

This is another proof that the 3 Angels message movement or the Seventh Day Adventist Church is the true movement. The sabbath also did not pass away.

Most churches teach that there is no more law. The Bible says that if there was no law, there would be no sin. It does not make sense to teach that there is no law. If it were so, then there would be no need for Jesus to die on the cross. As if there was no law, there would be no sin.

1 JN 3 4 Whoever commits sin also transgresses the law, because sin is the transgression of the law.

If there was no more law, then there would be no more sinners. But we know there are sinners. We are all sinners. Paul in the New Testament talks all over that the world is getting worse. Then it stands to reason that the ten commandments are still relevant. Isaiah 66 tells us that everyone in heaven will keep the sabbath.

is 6622.For as the new heavens and the new earth that I will create will remain before me, so will your seed and your name, says the Lord.23 And it shall come to pass, saith the Lord, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, all flesh shall come to worship before me.

Here we see that the sabbath will be kept in heaven by all people. The sabbath was kept for 4000 years before Jesus by the Kews and people before Abraham. The sabbath was kept throughout the middle ages by the Waldenses. It makes sense that God would send the 3 angels movement to bring the sabbath back to the world. All his life, Jesus kept the sabbath.

LK 4: 16And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up; and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up to read.

All his life, Paul kept the sabbath.

AC 17 2And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days later, reasoned with them out of the scriptures.

Most Christians believe that at the Resurrection, the Sabbath was changed to Sunday. But let us see what the Bible says. When Jesus died on Friday, Jesus rested in the tomb on the sabbath and rose on Sunday, the first day of the week. Did the apostles begin to keep Sunday then? No

LK 23: 55And the women also, who came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre and how his body was laid. 56. They returned, prepared spices and ointments, and rested on the Sabbath day in accordance with the commandment.

They kept the Sabbath even after Jesus died. The bible says, according to the commandment. It means that the ten commandments were nowhere to be abolished for them. Did they start keeping Sunday the same day? No, they came to the sepulchre.

On the sabbath, they rested and waited for the sabbath to end so they could come see the tomb. If the sabbath was changed to Sunday, then they would have rested on Sunday.

LK 24 On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came to the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared and certain others with them.

The sabbath has never been changed. It is part of the ten commandments. One who keeps one and breaks another becomes a transgressor of the whole law.

JA 2: 10For whoever keeps the whole law but offends in one point is guilty of all.11. Because he who said, "Do not commit adultery," also said, "Do not murder."Even if you do not commit adultery, if you kill, you are breaking the law.

The seventh-day adventists and the fourth angel

What is the fourth angel? What are the teachings of the Seventh-day Adventists? This message is the very last message given to earth after the 3 angels' message; this message will lighten the whole earth with its glory. This message is called the "loud cry" or the "4th angel's message" in the verity of the righteousness by faith message. This message was given in 1888 by pastors AT Jones and Waggoner.

It is now up to the seventh-day Adventist church to reject one of God's messages. Not all, but quite a few of the leaders of Advanticism. When the 1888 conference came about, God called these two young men, AT Jones and Waggoner, to preach the powerful message of righteousness by faith. They were kicked out of the church and Ellen G. White, the prophet, was sent to Australia.

She says that if the message was to be accepted, then Jesus would have returned to the earth. But the proud heart of man wants to save himself. Men want to still think there is something good in them. Men want to prove that they can do the world without God. And sadly, the message of the righteousness of Jesus was rejected. Still, today we see a lot of legalism in the churches. But a part of the 3angels movement, as I call it, will be saved and the remnant church triumphant.

Ellen G. White: Is she a prophet?

What are the teachings of the Seventh-day Adventists? Jesus says in revelation 12 and we know from revelation 1 that the book of revelation was given by Jesus to the angel to John. Here Jesus says that my church keeps the commandments and has the testimony of Jesus. What is the Testimony of Jesus?

RE 19: 10. And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said to me, Behold, I am thy fellowservant, and one of thy brethren who have the testimony of Jesus: Worship God; for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy. It means that the 3 Angels movement or the seventh day adventist church will have a prophet and the whole movement will explain prophecy correctly. We find, for example, Josiah Litsh in 1838, saying

If my calculations are true in 2 years, the Ottoman empir will fall on August 11, 1840.

This happened down to the very day.

When there was a disappointment on October 22, 1844, The next day, God gave a vision to Hiram Edson, who was walking in his field. God showed him that the cleansing of the sanctuary was not on earth but there was a sanctuary in heaven.

All these arguments prove that the 3 Angels message movement is from God. also that Ellen G. White is a true prophet, as Peter says in Acts.

AC 2 And it shall come to pass, says God, in the last days, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh:And your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, and your old men will have dreams:

Peter here gives us the time frame. He says it will come after the dark day, when the stars fall, when the moon is blood red and when there is a great earthquake. These signs arrived around 1830. Peter says that the daughters prophesying or giving the 3 angels' message would come after these events. This also proves Ellen White to be the true end-time prophet from the bible.
