This is part one in the serie in the which we are seeking to find out who babylon in the bible is . Babylon in the book of revelation . We know that babylon is found in the old testament . DOES BABYLON CONSTITUTE PAGAN RELIGIONS OR CHRISTIAN CHURCHES ?

We know this message was not given to pagan religions as they never fell from the truth . For one to fall it means , this person used t be standing . Paul says we stand on the truth . When we fall it means we are falling from the truth, or we are rejecting truth . Babylon in the book of revelation falls after the first angels message is given and rejected . All nations and people on earth . So it is easy to find out who gave this message . As Jesus in the book of revelation says . This message is not a local obscure message , but a worldwide message .

WHAT DOES PAUL MEAN BY ISRAEL FELL BECAUSE OF UNBELIEF ?

Now we see that babylon cannot refer to pagan religions . Now let us see what is this message that was given to them and rejected . We note that the three angels messages is given not only to the christian churches but to the world . But this message was first given to the christian churches . Paul says that Israel fell. Then he explains why Israel fell . He says because of unbelief . So we conclude that FALLING in the bible means . Someone or a church or a nation reject Gods light .

Note it does not say that falling means the person or church is rejecting all truths about God . As they reject new light, then they reject truth . Jesus is the way the truth and the life . Rejecting any light from God , it means we are rejecting Jesus himself .

JN 14 5 ' Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. '

RO 11 11 ' through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy . 12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? … 20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. WHAT IS THE MESSAGE REJECTED ? THE EARTHLY SANCTUARY

We find this message in revelation 14 . It is not a local message , as we have seen , this message is given to the whole world . But it was first given to the protestant and the catholic church in United States .

RE 14 6 ' And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. '

This message is THE HOUR OF HIS JUDGMENT IS COME . What does it mean ? In Israel the high priest would go into the most holy place one day a year . This was called the judgment day . In these times it was only for the people of Israel

LE 16 33 ' And he shall make an atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make an atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation, and for the altar, and he shall make an atonement for the priests, and for all the people of the congregation. '

One day a year, called the day of atonement . The high priest would enter the most holy place to clean the memory of sin accumulated in the sanctuary throughout the year . When they killed an animal the sin was transfered to the sanctuary . But once a year the high priest would cleanse the sanctuary from all sin accumulated which was transfered from the sinner to the animal to the sanctuary .

WHAT IS THE MESSAGE REJECTED ? THE HEAVENLY SANCTUARY

Now we live in the times of the new testament . Babylon in the book of revelation tell us it is spiritual babylon not literal babylon . In the new testament Jesus entered the sanctuary in heaven . The book of Hebrews tells us Jesus entered the holy place . Who was John who wrote the book of revelation ? The person God gave end time revelation to .

But Daniel 8 14 tells us that at the end of this pediod of 2300 days or 2300 literal years . Jesus would enter the most holy place of the sanctuary to start deciding who wil go ot heaven or not . It is called the hour of his judgment is come .

DA 8 14 ' And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. '

RE 14 7 ' Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: '

THE HOUR OF HIS JUDGMENT - THE CLEANSING OF THE SANCTUARY SAME THING

To make this simple . The 2300 days are years as in prophecy 1 DAY = 1 YEAR

Gabriel says in DA 9 This 2300 years start when Jerusalem is rebuilt

DA 9 25 ' Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. '

SEAL THE BOOK UNTIL THE TIME OF THE END

Gabriel says in daniel 12 seal this book . So no one would understand the prophetic part of the book of Daniel until the time of the end . Gabriel continues saying . The time of the end is the 1260 years prophecy . Or the 1260 years of papal persecution . This pediod ended in 1798 .

DA 12 9 ' And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.  '

WHO GAVE THIS MESSAGE - WHEN - WHAT IS THIS MESSAGE ?

We just saw that this message could only be given after 1798 . Because Gabriel says , seal this book until the time of the end . Who after 1798 gave a worldwide message about THE HOUR OF HIS JUDGMENT IS COME ? The only person we find in history who gave a world wide message about the sanctuary, about the 2300 days, about the hour of his judgment is WILLIAM MILLER

It is a very solemn message . As today Jesus could be reviewing your life, your thoughts, your actions, your intentions and deciding your eternal destiny .
